Cyber revolution Seminar organized in LA Convention

Second Day:  The second day program was started by the opening statement of Joint central organizer of MQM USA Arshad Hussain. Patron MQM North America, Ibad Rehman highlighted the role of Sun Charity USA and said that the volunteers of MQM USA have been helping in the activities of Sun Charity. He said that since the politics of MQM revolves around serving the humanity so our volunteers are always on the front lines helping the Sun Charity USA in their charity campaigns around the world. The brain storming session was also conducted during this phase of the convention where the Chapter In charges, office bearers and COC members exchanged their ideas and suggestions to improve the organizational work in USA. Chapter In charges shared their performance report with the Central Organizer and Patron North America and discussed about the future plans and programs for year 2012.
 

Patron and Central Organizer showed their satisfaction over the organizational work in USA and urged the office bearers and workers to mobilize the Pakistani community in spreading the message of MQM and Mr. Altaf Hussain.
 

Another exciting part of this session was the cyber revolution seminar. The seminar was organized by Communication & Media cell MQM USA to encourage the workers and supporters to actively participate on social media forums.  This seminar was conducted by COC members Wasim Zaidi and Saqib Mohiuddin who gave the presentation on Cyber Revolution and highlighted the importance of social media in spreading the ideology of MQM.
 

Public gathering for the Pakistani community in Los Angeles was held later in the evening whose chief guest was Dr. Farooq Sattar from Pakistan and which attracted several prominent persons of local community.

Dr. Farooq Sattar highlighted the issues going around in Pakistan and said that feudalism is the menace of the society which is not letting Pakistan move towards betterment. He said that MQM is struggling hard to get rid of this feudal system but everybody has to do effort from their side as this is a collective effort to give a better future to Pakistan.

Dr. Farooq further said that MQM has tabled the bill in National Assembly for the creation of Saraiki and Hazara provinces. He said that empowerment to the masses in Pakistan is an urgent need for the integrity of the country and MQM is fighting the case of common Pakistani on all public and legislative forums.
 

He further said that status quo in Pakistan is a great threat and people of Pakistan should support the cause and agenda of Mr. Altaf Hussain for a true and peaceful revolution in Pakistan.

Convention was ended with a light musical evening which was enjoyed by the public. Media team worked hard on streaming the whole convention live to the people around the world which was appreciated by all the supporters and workers who could not attend the convention.
