Deputy Convener Approves Logo for the 25th Anniversary Celebrations.
The Central Organizing Committee of the MQM USA has decided that the 25th anniversary celebrations will commence on March 21st, 2003 at the semi-annual convention in Saint Louis and will end in August 2003 at the annual convention in Los Angeles. These celebrations would include Quaid-eTehrik's public addresses, Mushairas, Musical Programs, Variety shows, Conventions and Sporting Events in the United States.
Quaid-e-Tehrik Altaf Hussain had launched APMSO , a student movement from the Karachi University on June 11, 1978. On March 18, 1984, Quaid-e-Tehrik had formed Mohajir Quami Movement, which later transformed in Muttahida Quami Movement on July 26, 1997. Year 2003 is the 25th year of MQM's struggle for the rights of the common class in Pakistan.
