MQM USA All Set For Silver Jubilee Celebrations!

New York, October 12, 2008: MQM USA has officially started the preparations of Silver Jubilee Celebrations on 25th birthday of MQM’s inception in 2009 and the Committee on Silver Jubilee Celebrations is busy in giving shape to the programs of the celebrations. Muttahida Quami Movement USA held a pan-American tele-conference last night which was attended by Nigraan e Aala, MQM North America, The Central Organizer MQM USA, members of the Central Organizing Committee MQM USA, members of the Helping Committee MQM USA, members of the Committee on Silver Jubilee preparations, and the Inchrges of all the peripheral units of MQM USA. In this meeting the Central Organizer reviewed the preparations in detail and invited the opinion, proposals, and suggestion from the participants of the meeting for the Silver Jubilee Celebrations program. The Silver Jubilee Celebrations Program would include seminars, symposiums, public meetings, newspaper articles, birthday celebration in different local units, sports competitions, quiz programs, and a central Silver Jubilee Convention the date and venues of which will be announced shortly and which will be attended not only by the MQM delegation from across North America, but also from all corners of the world. In these celebrations the history of the struggle of MQM in the last 25 years, different eras, organizational uniqueness of MQM, sacrifices of the martyrs of the movement, and multi-faceted personality of Quaid e Tehreek Altaf Hussain will be brought into light and presented to the public. During these celebration the outreach will not only be made to the Haq Parast community and Pakistani community, the international community and international media will also be approached and will be apprised of the philosophy of Quaid e Tehreek Altaf Hussain and the movement. The Central Organizer said, in the meeting, that within a few days the program will be finalized to its finer details and then every worker of MQM will be fully involved in the preparations of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations. The members of the Central Organizing Committee said that holding the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of MQM’s inception is an honor and pride for every worker of MQM USA. They reiterated that propagation and dissipation of Quaid e Tehreek’s philosophy is the top priority in the life of every worker of MQM and they are standing shoulder to shoulder with Quaid e Tehreek in the fight against tyranny, excesses, injustice, inequality, extremism, religious fanaticism, and terrorism.
