Washington DC chapter of MQM USA organized a program
“Meet the Press” with Dr. Farooq Sattar, the Federal
Minister of overseas Pakistanis and parliamentary
leader of MQM in Pakistan. A large number of local
journalists of electronic and print media showed up to
meet Dr. Farooq Sattar. Patron of MQM North America
Ibad Rehman, Tauseef Khan, member of central
organizing committee, Pakistani business community,
workers of local chapter and a large number of women

border posts of Pakistan Army in Mohmand Agency by the
NATO forces resulting in the martyrdom of Pakistani

apology to Pakistan from the US on the incident. This

The food drive was launched in all major cities including Washington DC, Baltimore, and Connecticut. In Baltimore, SUN USA in collaboration with Harford Family House that provides shelter to homeless families, arranged a grand dinner event for more than sixty families who take refuge in Harford Family House in Aberdeen, MD on Thanksgiving Day. Sun Charity distributed the packet of meat among the flood-affected families of Pakistan. Sun Charity In-charge Arshad Hussain visits the flood-torn areas of Sind province for distribution of the meat packets among the large number of flood-ravaged families so that they could also celebrate the Eid festival with traditional zeal. Arshad Hussain, the in charge of SUN Charity said on the occasion that, Society for Unwell and Needy (SUN) is working globally for the needy people, without any difference of religion, race and creed in all the disaster hit areas around the world.
