MQM USA's meeting chaired by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui


MQM USA Central Organizing Committee meeting was held on 9th of Nov 2002. Central Organizer Ibad ur Rehman and members of the Central Committee attended the meeting. Deputy Convenor MQM, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui chaired the meeting at the request of the Central Organizing Committee. It was the first
meeting after the inclusion of four new committee members named Adnan Naqvi , Farhat Khan , Sabhi-ul- Islam and Imran Hussain.

Deputy Convenor Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui briefed the Central Organizing Committee about the recent organizational changes and the political development. Ibad-ur-Rehman , The Central Organizer USA presented an overview of the organizational work in different states and the operational structure of MQM USA. He briefed the members about his recent organizational trip to Houston , Dallas , Oklahoma and Detroit. He formally announced the BRD (Business & Resource Development ) wing whose main task is to generate funds for the Organization. Different ideas were discussed which included the Major Sporting Event to be held in June 2003 in Los Angeles jointly under the BRD and Sports & Recreation Wing.

In his briefing , he emphasized the importance of KKF campaign and asked the Committee Members to completely focus their attention on KKF fund raising campaign and mobilize the Units to participate in this campaign actively and effectively. He appreciated the work done by MQM Computer Wing , BRD , News & Information Bureau and Gahwara-e-Adab and hope that these wings will do their best in the larger interest of MQM and the nation.

Finally , the Central Committee members reported their progress on the different tasks they have been assigned by the Central Organizer.
