Messages of condolence from President Bush, President Musharraf and
Quaid-e-Tehrik Altaf Hussain: |

| (MQM Washington Report): "Columbia's lost. There are
no survivors," a grim-faced President Bush said in an address to the
American people. "These astronauts knew the dangers, and they faced them
willingly, knowing they had a high and noble purpose in life." Pakistan's President Gen. Pervez Musharraf expressed his condolence in a note to U.S. President George W. Bush. He said that the flyers had symbolized the aspirations and achievements of the American people. Founder & Leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain sent a telegram to American president saying, those who have lost their lives in this terrible incident, had a great and common purpose to serve; they were trying to create a better tomorrow for today's world. Mr. Hussain also expressed his sentiments to the families of the astronauts killed in Columbia shuttle's disaster. |
