Job fair In Washington DC

Pakistan American Business Association in association with the Muttahida
Quami Movement of United States has taken a historic step by arranging a job
fair at the Fairview Marriott in Washington DC on March 09, 2003.
The job fair was widely attended by the community as well as the employers from
the Pakistani and American businesses. Companies participated in the fair
includes; First Virginia Bank, CanAM, American Realty, McKenzie Law, Laher group
of companies, Acorn Title, Cominfo, etc.
There were over three hundred applications received during the eight hours of
job fair, and 28 applicants were selected for the jobs at the spot. MQM USA and
Pakistani American Business Association have agreed in principal to hold the
fair again soon and on a relatively larger scale.
