May You Remember This ....!!

It is said about Mian Nawaz Sharif that he has a habit of being oblivious about many important things, very innocently. However, the ironic fact about the pictures is that they unfortunately always speak the truth. This is the picture issued by the government of Pakistan. The picture is dated June 06, 1992, in which the then prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif is coming to the core headquarters for a briefing about the preparations of the operation against MQM on June 19, 1992. He is accompanied with the then chief of army staff Asif Nawaz and the core commander Lieutenant General Naseer Akhter. The then chief minister Muzaffar Hussain Shah is also seen in the hindsight. It is said that during this briefing the army chief had said to the prime minister with red circle on certain parts of Karachi that “if ordered these places will be wiped out of the existence”.
