Pakistan Is Being Punished For Being Allies to the Anti-Terrorist Forces

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; New York; December 4, 2009; Pakistan, its armed forces, and its people are being punished for being the part of the war against terrorism. This was said in a statement by MQM USA issued to denounce the bomb blast in a mosque in Rawalpindi today which cost more than 40 innocent lives including high ranking army officials, children and other civilians and left several others severely injured. The incident took place in a mosque situated in the cantonment area of Rawalpindi where the terrorists first opened indiscriminate firing and then threw the hand grenade in the mosque. The Patron-in-Chief North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Patron, MQM USA Ibad Rehman, the Central Organizer MQM USA Kamal Zafar, and the members of the central organizing committee MQM USA while strongly deprecating the heinous terrorist attack in a worship place said that this is the built up monster for which the apprehensions were being shown by the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain for a while in his statements and if the proper measures would have been taken at the right time, the circumstances would have had changed. They said that terrorism and civilization are in sheer antagonism to each other and the terrorists elements are always on the mission of taking the civilization to the Stone Age which makes their task easy.  They also said that all these terrorist activities can be probed back only to be found to be connected to Taliban. They also said that, however, these incidents cannot bring the moral of the armed forces of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan down and Pakistan will remain a part of the war against terrorism. The office-bearers of MQM USA offered their condolence to the families of the victims and prayed for them for a peaceful and eternal abode in the heavens.
