Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; New York; June 6th, 2009: The Central Organizer Kamal Zafar and the members of the Central Organizing Committee, MQM USA have expressed their anger and sadness on the murder of two workers of MQM. They said peace and the law & order of Karachi is being disrupted as the result of a conspiracy. A certain group backed by anti-democratic forces and terrorists wants to keep the people of Karachi in a state of fear. Members of MQM are being punished for taking the stand for truth. They said that land mafia and arm dealers are helping these religious fanatics and targeting members of such political parties that are against Taliban where MQM is being the main target. Such conspiracies of disruption of the law & order situation are actually the conspiracies against the development of Karachi. However, they reiterated that each and every worker of MQM under the leadership of its leader Mr. Altaf Hussain is determined to stay put in the path of truth and every consiparcy against the development of Karachi will be foiled. In their statement they appealed to the Government of Pakistan to take appropriate actions against the elements that are backing these religious extremists. At the end of the statement prayers were offered for the martyrs of MQM and other political parties and condolences were offered to their family members.
