Flood Relief activities of MQM North America for Flood Victims in Full Force

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Virginia; August 20, 2010: Under the instructions of the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain the relief activities of MQM North America for the flood victims in Pakistan has already started and is in full force under the supervision of the Patron MQM USA & MQM Canada Ibad Rehman. The office bearers of the central committees of MQM USA and Canada, office-bearers, workers, and supporters of 18 Chapters of MQM USA and 8 Chapters of MQM Canada along with their subsidiaries are active and fully engaged in the relief activities, its planning, execution, and proper wrap-up. The relief activities include the collection of cash donations from the philanthropists, charitable organizations in Pakistani community in North America as well as the organizations and individual donors in the American community through an extensive outreach, collection of extremely important emergency supplies for the flood victims including new clothes, medicines including, antibiotics, anti-diarrheal, salt replenishments, water bottles, cooked ready-to-eat meals, new shoes, sandals, tents, and purchasing of the same stuff with the cash donations collected. The relief goods will be directly distributed to the flood victims under the supervision of the office-bearers and workers of MQM Pakistan. The Patron of MQM USA has appealed to the Pakistani and international community in North America to come forward and donate generously in the fund for the relief of the flood victims in Pakistan.
