Atlanta Chapter launched the Membership Drive
Communication & Media Cell; Washington DC,
October 6th 2011; MQM USA Atlanta chapter organized a big event to launch
the membership campaign and public contact campaign in USA which was
attended by the large number of workers and supporters of MQM. Present on
the occasion were President Aligarh Alumni Association Sadaf Farooqui along
with joint central organizer of MQM USA Nadeem Sidiqqui and member central
organizing committee Saqib Mohiuddin. The patron in chief of MQM North
America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui specially attended the event in Atlanta.
On this occasion Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui highlighted the continuous
struggle, sacrifices and successes of founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf
Hussain in his speech. He said that the success of MQM, an innovative and
progressive party, in the rotten and corrupt system of Pakistan where
representatives of 2% feudal system rule the 98% of oppressed people has
showed that prosper and stable Pakistan can only be reached by the
revolution of the oppressed people of Pakistan. The success of MQM has lit
the candle of hope in the lives of oppressed and deprived people of
Pakistan; the same hope is lightening up the urban and rural areas of the
country.
He further said that today Pakistan is facing serious problems and engulfed
by internal and external crises which can only be resolved by the
revolutionary struggle of oppressed and deprived people of Pakistan and MQM
is struggling to move those people for last 30 year.
On this occasion Dr. Khalid Maqbool congratulated the organizers, office
bearers, workers and supporters of MQM USA for launching the membership
campaign and showed his hope to the workers that they will try to reach
every Pakistani living in USA to spread the message of Mr. Altaf Hussain.
On this event Atlanta Chapter inaugurated the autobiography “My life’s
journey” of founder and leader Mr. Altaf Hussain. Mr. Aslam Pervaiz, joint
in charge of Gahwara-e-Adab conducted this program which was concluded with
the musical night.
