MQM USA holds a Ceremony at Nine Zero to Award 2nd Prize Winner
Syed Muhammad Tariq. Member Central Committee Farhat Khan hands over a complete
computer system. MQM's Parliamentary leader Dr. Farooq Sattar and other members
of the Adhoc Committee including Joint Incharge Abdul Haseeb, members Zahid
Qureshi, Ms. Mumtaz Anwar and Younus Mansoori. were also Present at the
occasion. Ceremony was held at Khurshid Begum Hall where a number of workers,
office bearers and supporters were present to appreciate Tariq's effort who
wrote a
prize winner article "World after September 11, Give Peace a Chance". Speaking
at the ceremony, Farhat Khan, a member of MQM USA's Central Organizing Committee
who was especially visiting Pakistan, congratulated the winner and asked all
workers especially the workers from APMSO to focus on their studies and at the
same time spread the philosophy of Quaid. Winner S.M Tariq thanked MQM USA
for holding such an event and for awarding him the computer system. S. M Tariq
is a senior worker of MQM in Shah Faisal Sector as well as of North Karachi
Sector in Karachi. MQM USA held an essay writing competition early this year
under the name and title of "Quaid-e-Tehrik Peace Award" with a special focus
on 911 event in USA.
