MQM United States invited Federal Ministers Shamim Siddiqui and Tariq Azeem
Khan in New York in a program titled “Government in People’s Court” arranged by MQM New York unit and
attended by over two hundred Pakistani Americans.
Federal Ministers responded in detail and for over three hours some fiery
questions from the public. Questions included issues like Bajore attack, KESC’s
performance, MMA’s dual role as an opposition and Government, foreign
investments, public works and progress, science technology and education,
welfare of the general public and overall political scenario in Pakistan in view
of the U.S elections as well as upcoming Pakistani elections.
Both the federal ministers succeeded in satisfying the crowd and each and every
issue and the attendees were impressed with the detailed answers offered by the
respected ministers. Both the ministers have thanked MQM USA for providing them
with the opportunity to meet the people and to address their concerns.
Program Details.
On 10th November, 2006 at the Anton, Long Island, New York MQM New York Unit
Arranges “HUKUMAT AWAM KAY RUBARU”.
Program started at 8:15 with Tilawaat e Quran by Moeed Siddiqui Bhai member
Central Organizing Committee. After recitation of Holy Quran, Maria Ahmed
recited a beautiful “NAAT” (PBUH), which was appreciated by the audience.
MQM USA Youth Wing's Maliha Khan welcomed the audiences and requested Kamal Zafar
Bhai member Central Organizing Committee to host the program, Kamal Bhai
explained in detail about philosophy of arranging this event In a packed hall,
MQM New York unit’s Joint Unit-In-charge Anjum Arif Baji welcomed the audiences
and thanked the community for taking interest in this event. Anis Siddiqui bhai
also thanked the audience. Farhat Khan Bhai Joint organizer MQM USA
congratulated the New York unit for arranging such a beautiful event and thanked
Federal Minister for Communication Mr. Muhammad Shamim Siddiqui & Senator Mr.
Tariq Azim Khan State Minister for Information & Broadcasting for taking their
time for this “Ru-Ba-Ru” program.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui Nigran-E-Aala MQM USA explained in detail the
concerned & views of the MQM. Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui further added that
"Under the guidance of Quaid-e-Threek Altaf Hussain Bhai’s philosophy of MQM it
will continue its efforts against feudalism and will get rid of Jageerdari Nizam.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the caretaker of MQM North America and the Central
Organizer Ajaz Siddiqi bhai congratulated Dr. Anwar bhai unit incharge of New
York unit for his unit committee’s efforts in arranging this event on a very
short notice.
