MQM Washington worker Mr. Sabih ul Islam’s mother.

Chief Organizer Muhammad Younus announced that the
MQM overseas convention to be held in Miami
from 16 to 18 August 2002.
March 2, 2002 MQM’s
meeting held in Toronto to offer Fathia on the death of Quaid-e-Tehrik’s
brother in law Mr. Aslam Abrahani.

meeting held in Chicago to offer Fathia on the death of Quaid-e-Tehrik’s

March 13, 2002 MQM Overseas launched a “Green
Campaign” to celebrate Afza Altaf’s
birth. Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui planted a tree in New
York to launch campaign.

April 14, 2002 MQM Houston unit and ex-MPA Babar Ghauri have succeeded in
making the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC
to establish its mobile desk in the city of Houston.
Community in Houston congratulated
the unit and thanked MQM.
April 24, 2002 Chief Organizer Muhammad Younus and Deputy Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui
addressed a general workers meeting held on telephone in 8 cities of the United
States. They congratulated workers on the
success of Sindh Unity Convention held in Nishtar Park Karachi.

June 10, 2002 Rabita Committee of MQM has announced that the MQM USA & Canada have now been divided into two separate units. Dr. Syed Safdar Ali will be the Central Organizer for MQM Canada.
June 11, 2002 MQM Chicago unit has held a musical
evening to celebrate 24th foundation day of APMSO.
June 27, 2002 Chief Organizer Muhammad Younus presided a general workers session on the phone to
mark tenth anniversary of Operation against the MQM in Pakistan.
July 12, 2002
Dr. Isharat Ul Ibad and Mr.
Tariq Mir of MQM International Secretariat arrives in United
States on a three day organizational trip.
July 13, 2002 Dr. Ishrat Ul Ibad and Mr. Tariq Mir,
together with the Deputy Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui have announced
the new organizational setup in the United States. Mr. Ibad U. Rehman has become the new Central Organizer with a
four member organizing committee comprising of Waseem
Khan, Shamim
Siddiqui, Ahsanullah Khan and Ajaz Siddiui. Ex-Chief Organizer USA Mr. Muhammad Younus will
now be working for the MQM International Relations Wing.
July 14, 2002
Newly announced committee met with the Deputy Convener
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and discussed in detail the plan of action for the
next six months.

launching several wings including “Muttahida Gahwara-e-Adab”, “Muttahida Engineer’s
Forum”, “Muttahida Sports & Recreation Wing”, Muttahida, Business & Resource Development Wing”, Muttahida Quami Fund’s Electronic
Deposit System”.

Quaid-e-Tehrik Altaf Husssain made a
phone call to the Central Organizer USA Ibad Ur
Rehman and his wife Bushra Rehman in Saudi Arabia at the time of their wedding ceremony and blessed
them with his prayers. While speaking with the bride he hoped that she would
become a helping hand in the struggle for national rights. The bride and the
groom assured Quaid-e-Tehrik that they'll use their
best efforts to further his ideology.
