MQM USA launches Membership Drive in more then 15 cities

Thousands of workers have been mobilized for membership drive and public contact campaign

Communication & Media Cell; Washington DC, 26^TH September 2011; MQM USA has launched membership drive and public contact campaign in more then 15 cities of USA where the organization has it’s setup. Thousands of MQM USA workers have started this important drive in their respective cities while contacting the supporters of MQM and Pakistani community in general to encourage them to become part of MQM USA.

This was decided in an important meeting organized by Central Organizing committee of MQM USA. The meeting was attended by Central Organizer Junaid Fahmi, joint central organizers Arshad Hussain, Nadeem Siddiqui, members of the Central Organizing Committee along with Chapter In charges and office bearers of MQM USA.

MQM USA‘s Central Organizer reviewed an overall performance of the organization in USA. On this occasion he said that this is the time to reach out to our supporters and Pakistani community living in USA with the message of Mr. Altaf Hussain to save Pakistan. He urged MQM USA workers to meet the Pakistani community and encourage them to become part of MQM’s historical struggle for the betterment of their beloved homeland Pakistan. He further said that MQM is the only political party in Pakistan which has the ideology, philosophy, manifesto and clear guidelines to address and resolve the problems faced by Pakistan. He said that only true and sincere leadership could face the challenges of present time and it is our responsibility as overseas Pakistanis to strengthen this true leadership and movement run by Mr. Altaf Hussain. He said that MQM has always taken very clear stance on extremism, feudalism, poverty, illiteracy and corrupt political culture in Pakistan and since we all are proud of this movement, now this is the time to enlarge our circle and share our pride with other Pakistanis living in USA.

Joint Central Organizer Arshad Hussain while speaking on this occasion said that this is the time to take responsibilities on our shoulders and let the Pakistani community know about the message of Mr. Altaf Hussain and help them understand the struggle and sacrifices made by MQM for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.

In the same meeting they reviewed the political situation of Pakistan and supported MQM’s stance in this situation and also reviewed the conspiracies and false propaganda against MQM and decided to start an awareness campaign among Pakistanis living in USA about these conspiracies.

Special instructions were given to the Chapter in charges of MQM USA for the membership drive and also instructed them to make teams of workers for this purpose.

Finally Mr. Junaid Fahmi said that membership drive and public contact campaign is the key to spread the message of founder and leader Mr. Altaf Hussain in USA and public confidence on MQM is the key of 25 year success of MQM. MQM USA is working on the constructive and positive measure of public contact campaign and membership drive which will give us successful results in the future. In the end they held special prayers for the health and long life of Mr. Altaf Hussain.
