MQMUSA Chicago Chapter Celebrated Central (Markazi) program of 26^th MQM Youm-e-Tasees.

The biggest crowd in any political party’s program in Chicago ever.

MQM USA Central Organizing Committee; March 27, 2010: The days of the supremacy of the elites in Pakistan are counted and nothing can stop the rule of the oppressed and their prevailing. This was said by the former federal minister of Pakistan and Patron-in-Chief of MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in his address at the 26^th Foundation Central (Markazi) Celebrations congregation held at Chicago, more than 800 people gathered in Tanzeemi program.Which was held at Skokie Holiday Inn.

The congregation was also addressed by the Vice Coordinator International Affairs Mr. Mohammad Younus, and the high ranking MQM USA officials. The former federal minister also said that MQM is the only political party of Pakistan which is engaged with its full energy and resources for the restoration, settlement, and a bright future for democracy in Pakistan. He further emphasized that the party’s struggle to promote democracy in the country cannot be overlooked. The Foundation Day celebration congregation was attended by the workers and supporters of MQM Chicago, members of the Central Organizing attending the event from all over the USA including the Central Organizer Kamal Zafar, Counsel General of Pakistan at Chicago Sector Dr. Aman Rasheed, a large number of people from the Pakistani community representing its cross-section including elites, intellectuals, Politicians, and people relating to social, cultural, and business arena. Addressing the congregation, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui further said that in spite of the hurdles and difficulties, MQM has always fought for the rights of all oppressed of Pakistan. The party has maintained its purity by constantly struggling and fighting for the rights of oppressed in the country and because of this reason the oppressed have recognized MQM as their only liberators. These people have now gathered under the banner of MQM showing their trust and confidence in the point-of-view, philosophy & vision of the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain. The Vice Coordinator Mr. Younus said in his address that MQM is now acclaimed internationally as a harbinger of the movements that speak for the truth and justice. He also said that MQM has presented the case of the oppressed Pakistanis in all relevant forums internationally and has paved the opinion of international community. The Central organizer MQM USA Kamal Zafar said in his address that MQM is the only solution for the lingering problems of Pakistan and MQM has shown its ability of good governance by revolutionary developmental changes in the city of Karachi and now, thanks to MQM’s workers’ dedication the city of Karachi can be paralleled to any advanced city in Karachi. The Central Organizer further said that the workers of MQM are determined under the guidance and leadership of the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain for bringing a change in the life of the common man of Pakistan, a change that will give them an interface for a better life.

The joint central organizers Junaid Fahmi and Nadeem Siddiqui also reiterated in their address that MQM USA is also determined to support the cause which has been initiated by the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain and the nation will eventually see a revolution when the justice and equality prevail. The event was opened by the thanks giving remarks from the Chapter Incharge Sohail Shams and welcoming remarks from the Patron greater Chicago MQM Wakeel Jamali.

C.O.C members who were present at this historical occasion, Central Organizer Kamal Zafar from Los Angeles, Joint Organizer Junaid Fahmi from Chicago, Joint Organizer Nadeem Siddiqui from Atlanta,  Mehfooz Hydari from Philadelphia, Arshad Hussain from New Jersey, Asad Siddiqui from Dallas, Waseem Zaidi from Los Angeles  and Zaheer Khan from Huston.

The event, in stages, was conducted by Incharge Gahwarah-e-Adab USA Prof. Masroor Qureshi, a veteran worker of MQM and MQM USA Shamim Siddiqui, and the musical night which followed by the speeches was conducted by the member Central Organizing Committee MQM USA Mehfooz Hydari. Hafiz Akhlas recited the holy Quran, Tariq Fatimee recited the Naat.
