Session # 5: ADMISSIBIBILITY GUIDELINES (Continued)
A series of informational sessions was organized for
the Muslim community, by the Muslim NOBLE Alliance (MNA) Chicago Chapter,

Chief Sturgeon talked about documents and admissibility. He has a background
in immigration and is a resident expert in travel documents and
admissibility. He worked at the airports periodically to be in contact with
the travelers, and confirmed that, USCIS has issued 50,000 diversity visas
this year. He discussed the procedure about the passport card.
People also asked questions about B1, B2 visas, immigration of relatives,
what is the procedure if some one has to be deported from the airport
directly to their homeland without entering USA? Are there jails for women
and children too if they don’t have a valid visa? Do they provide phone
calls to inform their relatives what is going on there? Chief Sturgeon
responded to all these questions in a very detailed manner.
