SUN-charity/KKC Chicago hosted an Iftar dinner to support the fund raising
efforts at Indo-american Center Chicago. The event was attended by huge number
of people. Among others Shamim Siddiqui (Sun/KKC Incharge) were also present.
Program starts with the reciting the Holy Quran by Iqbal Bhai. Rasool khan bhai
welcomed and thanked to the guests. After the welcome remarks Junaid Fahmi Bhai
thanked the community for taking interest in this fund raising event. Also
emphasized that due to extension of organizational structure in overseas, and by
taking part in Tsunami & Katrina, MQMUSA have launched SUN USA, (Society for
Unwell & Needy) to help our society prosper, we need to help those, in need, in
the community we live in. Shamim Siddiqui Bhai welcomed the guests and thanked
everyone in turning up in big numbers. Also appreciate everyone about the work
and purpose of SUN and made an appeal to support it. He gave briefing on KKC
past works and SUN future projects.
11 year old kid Laraib Humayoun gave a 30 minute lecture of Islam and world
history. After the lecture audience started questioning about Islam and others
topics, Laraib Humayoun confidently gave answers. Laraib have Parallel Religions
knowledge about Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and world ancient
history. The audience were surprise and welcome him.
At the end of the occasion Fateha was offered for the martyrs and Aftari and
dinner was served
