Washington DC Chapter launched the Membership campaign
 

Communication & Media Cell; Washington DC, October 15th, 2011; MQM Washington DC chapter has proudly launched the Membership Drive 2011-2012 during the book inauguration ceremony “My Life’s Journey” an autobiography of founder and leader Mr. Altaf Hussain.

Chapter In charge Shahid Moin said in his speech “We are excited to see that community has been involved and we have launched our Membership Drive to ensure that we spread the message of MQM to the Pakistani community and especially to the people who are willing to join MQM. We strive to keep the middle class voices heard in the inevitable changes happening and we cannot achieve our goals without the support of our community and workers. He requested to the Pakistani community that join MQM if you Love Pakistan.”

President Pakistan Link and a well-known businessman of Pakistani American community Malik Hamid Ali expressed his views about MQM saying that all Pakistanis of every ethnic group should join hands together and join MQM. He further said that MQM is the last hope and resort for sovereignty and prosperity of Pakistan.

Thereafter, Ibad-ur-Rehman and senior most worker of MQM USA Uncle Riaz inaugurated the Book by a graceful ribbon opening ceremony.

In the end Patron MQM USA Ibad-ur-Rehman explained the importance of membership in his speech. He said that MQM is successfully achieving the goals without membership drive, but using full force with confidence can only be possible if an organization knows its strength. He further said that an organized membership list gives power to your words when you negotiate and demand for your rights. He said in the world where we are living, demand the head counts in every matter. He concluded his speech by quoting “Join, Connect, and Succeed”.

Up again many new members responded to the campaign and submitted their membership forms on the spot. All major Pakistani media channels such as ARY, GEO and Express News recorded the event.
