MQM Washington DC/Virginia Holds Meeting with the Health Minister Sindh
 

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Virginia; June 01, 2010: Washington D.C. Chapter arranged a meeting with the provincial minister of health Dr. Sagheer Ahmed in a local hotel. The meeting was attended by all the workers and office-bearers of MQM Washington DC/Virginia, along with the workers of Women’s Wing MQM Washington DC/Virginia as well as the head of Political Awareness Committee MQM USA Ajaz Siddiqui, member Central Organizing Committee MQM USA Tauseef Yar Khan, and the Patron MQM USA and Canada Ibad Rehman. The Minister shared his experience with MQM throughout his career and being a minster of health. He answered various questions asked in the meeting and cleared the reservations of workers.
In an answer to a question he said that we are natural allies of PPP. We both belong to Sindh soil and working together for the better future of our generations not even in Sindh but throughout Pakistan, regardless the hardships we are facing from some of the leaders of PPP but we as MQM are showing brotherhood and tolerance to keep the democracy on track, as instructed by the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain. He further said to the workers of MQM Washington DC that being a resident of Washington D.C and a member of local chapter this was now their responsibility to penetrate in the local politics and start lobbying. He added that this will be very fruitful for Pakistan in near future, as Pakistan's future lies with MQM. Patron of MQM USA and Canada Ibad Rehman endorsed the efforts of the workers of MQM Pakistan and gave some ideas to improve coordination between MQM Pakistan and MQMUSA. Ajaz Siddiqui and Tauseef Kahn thanked the honorable guest on behalf of the chapter committee and wished him and the party a success in future endeavors.
