MQM Washington DC Held a Discussion Forum on Revolution
Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Washington DC; February 27, 2011: MQM Washington DC Chapter organized a discussion forum on Inqilab (Revolution). The forum was attended and participated by the all workers and office bearers of MQM Washington DC including women's wing, the member Central Organizing Committee MQM USA Tauseef Khan and the Patron MQM North America Ibad Rehman. The participants of the forum shared the thoughts and explained why revolution seems to be imminent in Pakistan. They also compared the factors that drove the revolutions of the past and current scenarios of Middle East awakening with the situation of Pakistan. All participants agreed to that it is just about to the eruption at any moment in Pakistan as the people of Pakistan already have had enough and cannot tolerate anymore. The majority of the population of Pakistan is living below the poverty line. The corruption has reached to its peak and there is no rule of law in the country. The country is almost in the state of anarchy. The discussion ended at the input from Tauseef Khan who also appreciated the participation of the participants of the forum. The concluding remarks came from the Patron MQM North America Ibad Rehman who discussed the vital points and ideas of each speaker. He also emphasized the importance and need of these discussions on frequent basis. Forum ended at dinner.
