MQM Washington DC/Virginia Meets with Haider Abbas Rizvi
 

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Virginia; June 01, 2010: MQM Washington DC/Virginia Chapter arranged a meeting with the Deputy Parliament leader of MQM in the National assembly of Pakistan Mr. Haider Abbas Rizvi in a local hotel. The meeting was attended by all the workers and office-bearers of MQM Washington DC/Virginia, along with the workers of Women’s Wing MQM Washington DC/Virginia as well as the head of Political Awareness Committee MQM USA Ajaz Siddiqui, member Central Organizing Committee MQM USA Tauseef Yar Khan, and the Patron MQM USA and Canada Ibad Rehman. In this casual meeting Haider Abbas Rizvi and Ibad Rehman exchanged views and discussed the current political situation in Pakistan. The Patron MQM USA and Canada endorsed the services of Mr. Haider Abbas Rizvi and Dr. Farooque Sattar in the preparation of 18th amendment and said that this was a big achievement that will be remembered for years and the people of Pakistan will also remember MQM's stance in various issues, raised during the preparation and resolved. Answering to a question he described the role of MQM’s media cell, and how it's functioning at nine zero and how beneficial this cell is. The workers were very excited to know that as to how he tackles the question on talk shows. Mr. Haider Abbas Rizvi explained to the workers as to how to become prompt during the discussions and on the talk shows and said that one should know three things; the party policy, the geography and the current political/economical situations. He added that there will be an edge to the person if he is a good speaker too. He met with the chapter members very warmly and the whole meeting was jovial and in very light environment, he boosted the workers’ moral and advised them to keep working hard and the time is not far when 98% of this population will rule. Mr. Rizvi praised MQM USA's efforts and said that MQM USA’s workers can play a vital role for the betterment of the future of Pakistan.
