Washington DC chapter observed “Day of Martyrs”

Chapter of MQM USA observed “day of martyrdom” and paid tribute in the name
of martyrs of Karbala to all those who laid their lives for the true cause
of MQM. Patron in-chief MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui,
member of Coordination Committee of London Mr. Mohammed Anwar, Patron MQM
North America Mr.Ibad Rehman, COC member Tauseef Khan, workers and
supporters from different states and a large number of Pakistanis from
different walks of life and different communities attended the ceremony.
Dr, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said in his speech that the sacrifice of the
martyrs will not be forgotten, and it will boost the morale of the workers
of MQM and they will fight for the rights of 98% oppressed people of
Pakistan in the leadership of our founder and leader Mr. Altaf Hussain. He
further said that MQM is the only political party in Pakistan which has the
potential and capability to serve the common people of Pakistan and to save
Pakistan from the domestic and foreign challenges.
Mr.Mohammad Anwar gave an overview of current political situation in
Pakistan and the future plans of MQM. He highlighted the importance of
public meeting in Multan and said that this will be an important milestone
in establishing the roadmap of peaceful revolution in Pakistan. He said that
the philosophy and manifesto of MQM is spreading real fast in all four
provinces of Pakistan and the time will come soon when MQM will resolve all
the major issues of Pakistan.
Mr.Ibad Rehman said in his speech that we gathered in Washington DC to show
the solidarity with the martyrs of MQM and the workers, office bearers and
supporters of MQM gathered around the world to pay tribute to the martyrs of
this great movement. He said that the office bearers and workers of MQM USA
are working hard to spread the message of Mr. Altaf Hussain to the Pakistani
community living in USA. He urged the workers of MQM USA to use all their
skills, talent and abilities to support the peaceful revolution in Pakistan.
A presentation was shown to the audiences to highlight the struggle of MQM.
