Houston Chapter remembered the martyrs of MQM who have laid their lives in their struggle for truth and justice.
 

Communication & Media Cell, Washington DC; Dec 15^th 2011: Houston Chapter of MQM USA observed the day of Martyrs in Southwest Houston. The members of central organizing committee of MQM USA, Muhammad Zaheer, member of central helping committee Jamshed Warsi, member of central advisory committee Major Najmee, office bearers of Houston chapter, workers and supporters of MQM attended the event. The speakers said that today we are remembering the martyrs of MQM and also the martyrs of great battles of Karbala encompassing all who have laid their lives in their struggle for truth, justice, and the pious.  They highlighted the tremendous sacrifices offered by thousands of party workers including the very family members of the party founder and leader Mr. Altaf Hussain.
 

They spoke for all those who persevered in the sight of independence, sovereignty and a better future of Pakistan and for the generations to come.  

There was also an open condemnation for the recent acts of NATO's bombing on the Pakistani check post in Mohmand Agency along Pak - Afghan border.  Communal prayer was offered supplicating the Almighty Allah for a peaceful and eternal abode for all the martyrs as well as the victims of the recent bombing at the border.
