Pakistan Club LA Converges the Community on Haleem

 

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Los Angeles; March 6, 2011: Continuing with its tradition of 14 years and keeping the tradition alive , Pakistan Club Los Angeles hosted Annual Haleem event this year too. Once again it looked like all the avenues in Los Angeles were heading towards the Garden Grove Park, the usual and familiar place, where the Pakistani community in Los Angeles gathered at the annual Haleem event. A crowd to the tune of 2200 (largest by far) representing all walks of life in the community showed up to support the event that has become hallmark of Pakistan Club Los Angeles.President Pakistan Club Samin Faruqi and member Central Organizing committee MQM USA Wasim Zaidi had been on the task of greeting the guests along with their committed and energetic team comprising of Abdul Lateef, Shahzad Hussain, Kashif Qureshi, Nasir Rao, Mrs. Rubina Faruqi, Syed Wajid, Syed Nabeel and Neelofar Zaidi. Addressing to the community at the event, the President Pakistan Club USA elaborated on the vision of the organization and invited the members of the Pkaistani community to join hands with the organization in serving the community. He also requested the audience to come forward with the suggestions as to how the organization could do a better community outreach. Among the prominent community leaders present at the event included the Consul General of Pakistan Mrs. Riffat masood, and the Central Organizer MQM USA Kamal zafar. The delicious dish was served in the best Pakistani traditions to the delight of the community members. Pakistan Club USA, Los Angeles thanked members of the community for their support and dedication.
