Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) S.Florida unit organized an evening with M. Anwar
member Rabita committee. The Caretaker of MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool
Siddiqui Bhai and Joint organizer MQM USA Farhat Khan Bhai were also present.
Nafees Baji joint unit incharge hosted the program. S Ali Kazmi started program
at 9:55 with Tilawaat e Quran. After recitation of Holy Quran, S. Ali Kazmi
recited a beautiful “NAAT” (PBUH), which was appreciated by the audiences.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Nigran e Aala, MQM North America, in his opening
remarks welcomed the guest from London and invited Mohammad Anwar bhai to take
over the session.
Highlighting his agenda as member Rabitta committee M. Anwar bhai briefed the
audience on various plans and schemes that MQM is working on. He discussed the
current Pakistan and international geo-political situation and insisted on
Pakistani community in North America for their moral support to those who are
fighting back home for rights and representation of 98% oppressed stratum of
Pakistani population. He also emphasized on the need for tolerance and open
mindedness. He informed the audiences that even if MQM will win just one seat in
Kashmir, MQM will emerge as a major political party which is not limited to
Sindh. Later he answered questions and concerns presented by the audiences and
elaborated on the cause of MQM and the philosophy of Quaid-E-Tahreek. In the
end, MQM Joint Unit- In-charge Ali Hassan Bhai thanked the audiences and the
community for taking interest in this event. Dinner was served in the end.
