Third and final day of MQm USA's Annual convention was held on Aug 19. 2002.

Deputy Convener Khalid M. Siddiqui formally commenced the last and final day at 11:00 AM.

A number of organizational tarbiati/training sessions were conducted by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui bhai, Central Organizer Ibad U. Rehman bhai.

People from all over the United States and Mimi city have gathered in huge number to attend the final day of convention.

The Wyndham hotel's convention hall was beautifully decorated by the workers.

A giant size poster of Quaid-e-Tehreek, Convention 2002 monogram and MQM, USA and Pakistani flags were all beautifully displayed in the hall.

A giant size MQM flag was hanged at the front entrance of the hotel next to the main highway.

Philadelphia Unit played an impressive stage show "Allama Iqbal and Tasawur-e-Pakistan". Another comedy show namely "Doo Budoo" was presented by MQM workers. Characters like ANWAR BAYSOOD, Benazir Zardari, Nawaz Shareef and MQM's sector incharge from Orangi town Baboo Bhai were all much appreciated for their performances.

New York unit has presented "URDU KI KAHANI, URDU KI ZABANI" which was remarkably performed by Aniba Arif. A number of ladies workers were wearing MQM's flag-colored dresses, bangles and jewelries.

Central Organizer Ibad U. Rehman proudly announced MQM USA's 125 member cabinet covering 20 States of the United States. He, in a big public applause, congratulated the office bearers on becoming a member of this biggest ever setup of the MQM outside Pakistan.

Central Organizer introduced to the public the central organizing committee members Shamim Siddiqui, Ahsanullah Khan, Waseem Khan and Ajaz Siddiqui. Deputy Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiuqi also congratulated the newly announced office bearers and instructed them to work efficiently and dedicatedly.

Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain addressed the gathering via satellite and express his gratitude to MQM USA and especially MQM South Florida unit on arranging this successful convention. Quaid-e-Tehreek also congratulated MQM USA's central cabinet and the newly announced office bearers of the MQM United States' several units. Quaid-e-Tehreek requested the audience to donate generously in MQM's election fund.

The workers and the attendees instantly responded to Quaid-e-tehreek's call and immediately donated thousands of dollars. Quaid-e-Tehreek spoke over an hour and also responded to questions regarding election, MQM's policy and possible alliances in the upcoming elections in Pakistan.

Deputy Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui bhai announced in clapping that the next convention (Year 2003) will be held in Los Angeles.

Deputy Convener officially closed the year 2002 convention and congratulated the city of Miami and MQM's South Florida unit in arranging such a successful event.
