MQM North America’s Caretaker Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui Visited Florida. (11-2-2004)

Florida: The Caretaker of MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui visited the Florida unit. In his tour he attended several gathering and met with all life of people.

He attended an iftar party in Mehfil Restaurant, Ft. Lauderdale, where a large number of people attended the gathering. Unit In charge Kamran Haider welcomed the Floridian who, came to attend an iftar party with Mr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. In jam-packed hall Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui highlighted MQM’s point of view in the current political situation in his speech. He informed participants that the KKC is a highly organized, active and effective social organization. Its services are spread over a very wide spectrum, which not only includes Karachi, Hyderabad and other urban areas of Sindh, but also KKC is known throughout Pakistan for its social services. He explained MQM’s Chief Mr. Alaf Hussain’s ideology. He said Altaf Hussain always preaches to his associates that maximum and every possible help and assistance should be extended to the poor, needy and helpless people. He himself derives great satisfaction in personally helping the deserving people. It is the result of his training that whether it is the establishing of cheap fruit stalls in Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, or Free Bazaar or mobile dispensaries, the KKC volunteers provide help to poor and deserving people without any hesitation. They neither want any reward nor seek any praise. Their only concern is that no needy person be left out from their assistance programs.

MQM USA’s organizing committee’s member Farhat Khan and Ex-MPA, S. Mohiuddin, and Mohd. Parvaiz were also participants of this program. Farhat khan thanked the participants. Unit In charge Kamran Haider did effective comparing and participant enjoyed his style.

MQM USA's Central Organizer Ibad Ur Rehman and the central organizing committee have commended and admired all those who had participated in the organizing of this beautiful gathering. They specially praised the efforts of Unit In charge Kamran Haider and his Unit Committee, workers and all others who had participated in the program.

In Unit’s meeting Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui discussed the overall unit activities. Unit Inchrge Kamran Haider briefed him about the progress being made to improve the unit performances and discussed unit’s future plans. Dr. Khalid Maqbool discussed the KKC Campaign in south Florida. In Terbiyati Nishit he gave guidelines for workers to perform their duties with honesty and loyalty.
