Large number of MQM workers, supporters and
youths gathered in New York to celebrate the 50th birthday of their beloved
Quaid and leader Mr.Altaf Hussain.
Present on the occasion were Dr.Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, ex Deputy Convener MQM
, members of Central Organizing Committee Imran Hussain , Waseem Khan and Dr.
Ali Imran, the visiting scholar from Columbia University.
Mr. Imran Hussain and Mr. Waseem Khan congratulated all party workers and
supporters on the 50th birthday of Mr. Altaf Hussain. They said that the youths
have always played an important role in the major revolutions and APMSO is an
excellent and bright example for the youths. They asked the workers to truly
devote themselves for the ideological movement of Mr. Altaf Hussain.
MQM Youth Wing organized this beautiful evening to celebrate the auspicious
occasion.
Aneeba Siddiqui, In charge MQM Youth Wing praised the leadership of Mr. Altaf
Hussain and his struggle for the oppressed people of Pakistan. She urged the
youths to spread the message and philosophy of MQM in USA and dedicate their
talents for the progress and prosperity of the Nation.
Youths while sharing their opinions congratulated all for Mr. Altaf Hussain’s
50th birthday. They expressed their feelings through speeches, songs and poetry.
Mrs. Khalida Shuja, In charge MQM New York Unit highlighted the importance of
17th September. She said that it’s because of the continuous struggle and
leadership of Mr. Altaf Hussain that we have been recognized as a Nation. We all
are united under his leadership and stands for our true cause and mission. She
also paid tribute to thousands of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this
righteous struggle. The most important event was the training session conducted
by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui .
He urged the youths to study and learn new horizons and then use them in the
larger benefit of their Nation. He talked about the importance of personal and
character ethics in one’s life and the use of skill , knowledge and desire to
overcome the wrong habits in human lives.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui highlighted the role of MQM as a revolutionary
organization and it’s struggle for the common people of Pakistan. He urged the
workers to make their actions and deeds accountable and decide on their own
whether their actions are in accordance with organization’s ideology and spirit
or not.
An open discussion forum was also held after the training session and people
shared their views and asked different questions.
In his concluding remarks, Dr. Siddiqui congratulated the followers of Mr. Altaf
Hussain living around the world on the eve of his 50th birthday and prayed for
the departed souls of martyrs.
