Nizam-e-Adl Regulation (NAR) is not only a challenge to the integrity of
Pakistan; it is also based on evil designs and backed by ulterior
motives. This was said by Mr. Tayyab Hussain, Member National Assembly
of Pakistan from MQM, while addressing to an emergency meeting arranged
by MQM New Jersey to discuss the deteriorating political situation in
Pakistan, and implementation of NAR. The meeting was attended by
Patron-in-Chief MQM North America and former Federal Minister, Dr.
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, office bearers of MQM USA, as well as workers
and office-bearers of MQM New Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia, and
people from Pakistani community in a large number. Addressing to the
meeting, the member National Assembly Tayyab Hussain said that the
implementation of NAR is in fact an effort for the Talibanization of
Pakistan. It is not only an effort, it is to expedite the process of
Talibanization. He said that although NAR is being implemented in the
northern parts of Pakistan, its long arm effects will affect the whole
Pakistan including Karachi. He added that those elements who are
frustrated with the development of Karachi under MQM’s regimen are
backing this system with evil designs in their minds. Tayyab Hussain
said that MQM strongly condemns, rejects, and denounces Talibanization
of Pakistan, efforts to compromise the integrity of Pakistan,
implementation of NAR, and dual system of justice on the same land. He
reiterated that each and every worker of MQM is determined under the
guidance and leadership of the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain to deter
all efforts for taking Pakistan and people of Pakistan to Stone-age.
Speaking to the same meeting the Patron-in-Chief, MQM North America and
the former Federal Minister of Pakistan, Dr. Khlaid Maqbool Siddiqui
said that MQM will oppose all efforts of implementation of the Shariah
of Sufi Muhammad in the cover of the Shariah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
He said that MQM is determined to take Pakistan into the era of 21st
century and any effort of taking the nation to the medieval ages will
face stern opposition from MQM. Dr. Khlaid Maqbool Siddiqui was
austerely critical of ANP leadership and said that these were the people
who were the flag bearers of socialism and communism and now for the
petty and personal interests, they have become tools in the hands of
religious extremists and terrorists. Ha also appealed to the leaders of
all political and religious parties of Pakistan to review their support
of NAR in the best interests of Pakistan and Pakistani people. |
