MQM New York's Barbeque. Event fully sponsored by Al-Safa Halal.(May-10-2003)

MQM New York unit has arranged a Barbeque party on Saturday 10th May 2003 at Fresh Meadow Park which continued all day long. A children's painting competition was also held during this open air party. MQM's Deputy Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was present at the occasion who also announced the new members for the New York's unit and advisory committees. Unit Incharge Khalida Shuja thanked the community for making this event successful. Renowned journalists, media representatives, MQM workers, supporters and their families have attended the Barbeque in hundreds and enjoyed the traditional hospitality of MQM. The program was fully sponsored by "Al-Safa Halal". MQM's Central Organizer Mr. Ibad U. Rehman has thanked Al-Safa's president Mr. David Muller for sponsoring the event and urged the community to help Al-Safa in promoting its product throughout the United States as this company has done a lot for the Community.
