Fundraising Event for Flood Victims of Pakistan held by MQM New York

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; New York; August 22, 2010: MQM New York held a fundraising event on the last weekend in a local hotel that was attended by the office bearers, workers and supporters of MQM New York, office-bearers of MQM USA, and the members of the Pakistani community in New York. The main feature of the event was the presence of the Minister for Youth Affairs Sindh Faisal Sabzwari and the Patron-in-Chief MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. The Minister for Youth Affairs Mr. Faisal Sabzwari said in his address that Pakistan is passing through a very critical time and unfortunately the disaster of flood has worsened the situation. He pressed on the members of the Pakistani community to come up with open hearts and show generosity to help out the suffering humanity in Pakistan. The Patron-in Chief MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui also said in his address that the unfortunate nation is facing an unfortunate calamity from the heavens and we are duty-bound to help the nation out at this time of test.
