The Country is Passing Through a Very Critical Time and All the Politicians Must Show Responsible Attitude to Save the Country:

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; New York; December 29, 2009: The nation and the country are passing through the severest critical time of the history and this is the time when all the politicians must show a responsible attitude to save the country. This was said by the Patron-in-Chief, MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui while talking to the people from Pakistani community at a Haleem feast in New York. The Haleem feast was organized by MQM New York at the business place of one of its staunch supporter and a famous figure in Pakistani community Mr. Abid Rafay on Yaum-e-Ashur, the day which marks the sacrifices offered by dozens of associates of Hazrat Imam Hussain, the grandson of the Prophet Mohammad 1400 years ago in the cause of truth and justice. The event was attended by the workers and supporters of MQM New York, members of the Advisory Committee of MQM New York, people from Karachi Club New York, member Central Organizing Committee MQM USA Gul Mohammad, and people representing all walks of life from Pakistani community. Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui further said that the people of Pakistan are loyal to their country and want to do whatever they can to save the country; however, the ball is in the court of the politicians of Pakistan to act positively. He added that MQM is already striving at its best to do so and others should follow. At the end of the event member Advisory Committee MQM New York offered Fatiha and prayers for Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, the former prime minister of Pakistan as the day marked her 2nd death anniversary. Fatiha and prayers were also offered for all the martyrs of Karbala incident and for all those who gave their lives in the cause of justice and truth.
