MQM New York Launches Muttahida Working Committee (MWC) in New York State

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; New York; October 19, 2010: MQM New York has announced Muttahida Working Committee (MWC) in a meeting held at a local restaurant in New York this weekend. The meeting was attended by the office bearers of MQM New York, Patron of MQM New York Khursheed-ul-Haque, member Central Organizing Committee MQM USA Gul Mohammad, Patron-in-Chief MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui as well as Mr. Abdur Rehman Awan, a popular figure in the Pakistani community in New York along with his friends including Shafiq Naz, Javed Bush, Rana Iqbal, Khalid Bhatti, and many other who mainly belong to province of Punjab. During the meeting after the announcement of launching of MWC Mr. Abdur Rehman Awan was announced the coordinator of the newly formed MWC. The people from the province of Punjab said that they were impressed by the philosophy of MQM and its leader Mr. Altaf Hussain and hence they have decided to join and take part in the activities of MQM to sow that they support the cause of MQM. At this point Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui welcomed them all and said that MQM’s philosophy of Empowerment for All will eventually win the hearts of all.
