Sunehri Eid Milan in New York, Jointly Hosted by MQM NY and Karachi Club.
Food, Music, Games, Lucky Draws, Qawwali, RooBuroo & Alamgir Made the Evening Memorable. Public in Huge Attendance Enjoyed the Hours of Fun.(Jan-24-03)

MQM New York unit and the Karachi Club of New York have jointly arranged an Eid Milan party at a local community center in Queens which was attended by hundreds of people from the New York city and its vicinities.
The organizers called this eve a “Sunehri Eid Milan”. MQM NY’s youth wing, children’s wing and other workers have participated to produce several events full of fun and enjoyment. Renowned pop singer Alamgir warmed the crowd for hours with his chart hits. Youth wing presented a comedy political qawwali whereas children’s wing presented a flag waiving presentation as well as a quiz program.

Heart of the evening was the program “Roo Buroo” conducted by the ex-Deputy Mayor of Karachi Mateen Yousuf and participated by the dignitaries like PIA Washington’s chief Khalid Hameed, Writer and Author Qamar Ali Abbasi, Voice of America’s Razi Rizvi, TV producer Furqan Haider, TV actress Nilofar Abbasi, poets Masrur Javed and Rais Warsi. MQM Philadelphia’s unit incharge Mahfooz Haidri played a role of a corrupt politician of Pakistan and earned applause from the crowd on every joke he threw.

MQM North America’s caretaker Dr. Khalid Maqbol Siddiqui, MQM USA’s Central Organizer Ibad U. Rehman, KKC USA’s organizer Tayyab Hussain and MQM USA’s central Organizing committee member Sabih Ul Islam were also present at the occasion.

MQM USA congratulates Karachi Club NY’s in charge Arif Siddiqi and MQM NY’s in charge Khalida Shuja for providing the community such a joyful and family oriented evening.
