Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Philadelphia; September 26, 2009: A delegation of MQM USA headed by the members of the Central Organizing Committee MQM USA and comprising of the office bearers and workers of MQM Philadelphia met with the Honorable Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Mohammad Yaqoob Khan on last Friday in an event hosted by Pakistan American Society Philadelphia. The event which was hosted in the honor of the PM was a token of showing solidarity with the will of the people of Kashmir and was organized under the caption of “Kashmiris Demand Right of Self-Determination”. During the meeting the PM was verbal of the efforts of MQM for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of the victims of the last earthquake in Kashmir and adjacent areas and said that the leadership speaks in the form of the dedication of the workers of MQM. He also said that the people of Azad Kashmir like the philosophy of the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain and now they have started electing Haq Parast candidates and this is the time that we have a Deputy Speaker in the Assembly from MQM leadership. The PM also endorsed the hard work of the workers of MQM USA and their dedication during the time of test for the Kashmiri people during the last earthquake. Later after the event the PM also spoke with the Patron-in-Chief, MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui over the telephone and discussed mutual affairs with him.
