Gahwara-e-Adab Establishes Two New Venues for Mushiras. Philadelphia and Detroit Mushiras Sets the Pace for Future Events.(June-23-2004)

Yakjehti Mushira Series reaches the cities of Detroit and Philadelphia, both cities with not many Indo-Pakistani population. However, by holding mushiras in these two cities, Gahwara-e-Adab has established the fact that there are enough poetry lovers there. Rahat Indori, Manzar Bhopali, Anwar Jalalpuri, Tilat Isharat, Masroor Ahmed and many other poets amused the audience for hours. MQM’s central organizing committee congratulates Fakhar Anwar of Detroit and Mahfooz Hydari of Philadelphia and their respective committees for taking this bold step and successfully organizing these events.
