| Under the banner of Gehwara-e-Adab, a historical
mushaira was held in Philadelphia to honor the famous Pakistani poet, Zia ul
Haque Qasmi and a number of domestic poets from NY, NJ, PA such as Sabiha
Saba, Dr. Ayesha Hyderi, Ghansham Gupta, Tony Javed, Rajni Anup, Naghma
Subuhi, Mehr Ayub, Seema Fahima, Taqi Kamal, Javed Qadri, Anup Bhargawa,
Salahuddin Ghazi, and Talat Isharat. Taqi Kamal was the host of the event.
Event was held at the residence of Talat Isharat and was carried on till
late in the night. |
