Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Los Angeles; December 14, 2010: The conspiracy against the people of Karachi that started from the “Aligarh and Qasba Colony Mishap” 24 years ago is still operative and the lives and the assets of the people of this cosmopolitan are put at risk at the hands of the representatives and operators of Taliban. This was said by the Central Organizer Kamal Zafar and the members of the Central Organizing Committee MQM USA in a statement issued today while remembering the painful and ugly incident of “Aligarh and Qasba Colony Mishap” that took place in 1986 in the western part of the city of Karachi when the armed goons and hoods attacked the inhabitants of the locality, ransacked their houses, looted and put hundreds of innocent inhabitants to death. The office-bearers of MQM USA said in their statement that the merciless killings of the people of Karachi did not stop there as the conspiracy did not end there either. They added that the continuous influx of the representatives, tools, and operators of Taliban is taking place and the terrorist and terrorist elements are being stationed at the strategic points around the collar of the city. They also said that the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has been warning the law-enforcing authorities, civil government officials and the public to beware of the influx of the terrorist elements in the city. However, the result of no heed given to the warning is that the city, its economics, and its inhabitants are at the hands of these terrorist who every now wand then color the streets of the city red with the blood of its inhabitants. However, the office-bearers of MQM USA reiterated that each and every worker of MQM under the leadership and guidance of their leader Mr. Altaf Hussain is determined to salvage the city and the other parts of the country form the terrorists and terrorism. They also demanded of the highest ranking law-enforcing authorities to make certain that the lives and assets of the people pf Karachi are safe from the hands of these foul-players.
