MQM’s Philosophy of Realism and Practicalism Defines Human Rights at its best
MQM is the Forerunner on the Human Rights Front in Pakistan
Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Los Angeles; December 10, 2010: When the world is moving forward to observe the International Human Rights Day, the human rights in Pakistan are battered, and buried deep under. MQM is the only political party in Pakistan who has given the due respect to the common men. This has been said in the statement issued by MQM USA on “International Human Rights Day” that is being observed on December 10, 2010 globally. This day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. The Central Organizer Kamal Zafar and the members of the Central Organizing Committee MQM USA said in the statement, while congratulating the world on this day, that every true movement in the world since its known history was launched to secure the human rights for the common men that have been violated by “few specials” always and everywhere. However, they added, in most part of the world the sanctity of the human being and the respect was restored, except some parts and Pakistan is one of them where the human rights for the common have been confiscated, battered, crushed, and buried deep under by the same “few specials” since its inception. They said that MQM believes in the human rights for every human being and it is the forerunner on the front of the human rights strives in Pakistan and the only political party that is the flag-bearer of the rights of common men in contrast to other political parties in Pakistan who only strive for their leaders and their survivals. The office-bearers of MQM USA also said that the philosophy of MQM, “Realism and Practicalism”, that has been put forth by its founder leader Mr. Altaf Hussain, is the best explanation and definition of human rights. They further said that each and every worker of MQM USA and workers of MQM around the globe are determined to strive at their best under the leadership and guidance of its leader Mr. Altaf Hussain for the restoration of human rights for the common men in Pakistan.
