Tesar Town Incident Is A Direct Consequence Of NAR Implementation And Is An Eye-opener For The Whole Nation: MQM USA
Media Cell, MQM USA; Los Angeles; April 22, 2009: The Central Organizer Kamal Zafar, and the members of The Central Organizing Committee, MQM USA, on behalf of the workers and supporters of MQM USA, have strongly condemned the deplorable act of attack on the Christian Community in the midst of the city of Karachi by armed Talibans and have declared this a direct consequence of the NAR (Nizam-e-Adl Regulation) implementation. The office-bearers of MQM USA have said, in a statement issued today, that the peaceful religion Islam teaches religious forbearance and tolerance, and attacking those who are not Muslims may be right in the Shariah of Sufi Muhammad but not in the Shariah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They said that MQM believes in equality and does not approve any discrimination on the basis of religion and other interfaces. They further said that the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has been continually and continuously warning the nation of the head-on collision with the danger of Talibanization, and the incident of Tesar Town must serve as an eye-opener for all those who are avoiding to looking at this oncoming danger. The office-bearers of MQM USA pronounced the Talibans as the other name of terrorism and said that those who are backing Talibans and NAR are actually supporting terrorism with their own ulterior motives and with their own agenda. The office-bearers of MQM USA further said that the vulnerability of the juncture at which Pakistan is standing does not give any liberty of affording mutual differences and a consolidated effort by all the people of Pakistan including the leaders of political and religious parties is need of the time to combat the monster of Talibanization. They reiterated that although this is not the responsibility of only MQM, however, MQM and its workers under the leadership pf their leader MR. Altaf Hussain will be the most insistent obstacle to all the efforts of Talibanization of the country and nation.
