The System Based On Cruelty Canít Be Called System Of Justice (Nizam-e-Adl)!

We Reject Dual System Of Justice On The Same Land.

Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Patron-in Chief, MQM North America

Media Cell MQM USA; New York; April 14, 2009: The Patron-in Chief MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that the Nizam-e-Adl Regulation (NAR) will implement a system based on cruelty rather than a system based on justice. He was sternly critical of the approval of NAR in the Parliament and said that NAR will not only promote religious extremism, and terrorism, it will also strengthen the obsolete and exploiting system, the feudalism as its personal baggage. He said that the fundamentalism is the by-product of feudalism, and this fundamentalism translates into religious extremism which in turn makes its way through the pathways of terrorism. He said that the Swat incident was a manifestation of the same system in which a teenage girl was flogged publicly by the religious extremists. He appealed to all political and religious parties in Pakistan especially the embers of the parliament that they should review the impact of NAR. Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that NAR is a dreadful conspiracy of putting the life and assets of the people of northern areas of Pakistan in the hands of terrorist elements and Talibans. He said that the message of Islam is peace and harmony and not the cruelty and injustice. In the same statement he also denounced the murder of three Baloch leaders at its strongest terms and said that this incident has promoted the sense of deprivation in the smaller provinces further. He said that MQM is standing with their Baloch brothers at this time of test. He also demanded of the law-enforcing officials for a high level probe of this incident as well as the murder of Nawab Akber Bugti and Nawab Balach Marri.
