MQM Chicago Observes Black Day on June 19 in the Reminiscence of State Operation on MQM on June 19, 1992

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; Chicago; June 20, 2009: The office bearers, workers, and supporters of MQM Chicago gathered on June 19 in MQM Chicago’s office and held prayers, and Quran recitation for the martyrs of the 1992 operation on MQM. The participants of the meeting declared this day ‘Black Day’ and said that this day will always be remembered as the stigma on the face of the humanity when MQM’s workers and supporters were terrorized, assaulted, molested, and murdered by the state agencies for no reason. The participants said that the only reason behind this operation had been the fear of change MQM wanted to bring in the old and obsolete feudal system prevailing in Pakistan. They said that each and every worker and supporter of MQM is always ready under the leadership of the leader of MQM MR. Altaf Hussain to give sacrifices like they gave in 1992.
