Pakistan Club USA arranges a series of Informational Sessions for Muslim Noble Alliance (MNA) Chicago

Session # 3: Seeking Federal Employment


A series of informational sessions was organized, by the Muslim NOBLE Alliance (MNA) Chicago Chapter, and hosted by Pakistan Club (USA) Chicago. Third session was held on October 20, 2010 at Sabri Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Chicago. Dr. Mehnaz, of PC introduced Chief Anye Whyte to talk about recruitment requirements and procedures.  In this session Chief Anye Whyte spoke in detail about Federal Employment programs. He said that Government made 3500 federal jobs available for border patrolling, so anyone who is an American citizen and in the age range of 18-40 years, who is also ready to move to Arizona, California, New Mexico or Texas could apply. He discussed the waiting time and physical fitness requirement too. Tariq Siddiqui of MNA urged the community to attend the one to one session on every Saturday from 1pm to 4pm at 2150 West Devon Ave, regarding their concerns and issues. Robin Dessaure, Field Director of DHS introduced the volunteers of PC Dr. Mehtab Akhter, Khalid Khan, Khurram jabber and Haris Ali and requested the community to come forward and bring their concerns and issues to resolve with the help of NOBLE .

Chief of Staff Jose Venegas touched on exploring program for youth. Michelle Velasquez is taking care of Chicago area, while Sanjay Yadav is responsible for Rosemont.
At the end Andleeb Jawaid of Pakistan Club (USA) Youth wing thanks everyone for there presence, and also the supporters of the program, Pak American Medical Center, Urdu Times, Pakistan Times, Pakistan News, Sada-e-Pakistan, Pakiza Restaurant, Sabri Restaurant and Banquet. End of session Dinner was served.
