Yaum-e-Saqoot-e-Dhaka And Day Of Saniha-e-Aligarh Observed In Chicago

MQM Chicago Unit held a gathering to observe Yaum-e-Saqoot-e-Dhaka (Dhaka Fall) and the Day of Saniha-e-Aligarh on December 14th. 2007. While the congregation was attended by a large number of MQM Chicago Unit workers, supporters, and members of Pakistani community, it was also attended by member Central Helping Committee, MQM USA, Junaid Fahmi, and MQM Chicago Unit In-charge Wakeel Jamali. The main event at the congregation was the telephonic address of the Nigran-e-Aala, MQM North America, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to the attendants of the event, in which he elaborated on the circumstances and the conspiracies behind the Dhaka Fall and Saniha-e-Aligarh. Nigran-e-Aala also emphasized on the importance of sacrifices during Dhaka Fall and Saniha-e-Aligarh. Those who also spoke at the event include Prof. Masroor Quraishy, Maj. Retd. Zaheer Akhter, columnists and writers Mr. Amin Haider and Mr. Ehtesham-uddin Arshad. The event ended at prayers offerings for those who gave their lives during Dhaka Fall and Saniha-e-Aligarh.
