MQM Los Angeles Continues with its Yearly Haleem Tradition.(Mar-12-05)

MQM USA Los Angeles unit's public Haleem 2005 was presented for the 7th consecutive time, and once again in Garden Grove California on March 6th 2005 on a beautiful sunny Sunday. As always, Pervaiz and Arif of the unit performed the magic of festive cooking and won the hearts of Southern Californians. Mr.Noor Mohammad Jadmani,Pakistan Consul General, Los Angeles were also among the distinguished guests. "This year was the best of all previous years,more than two thousand people shows up for the event", said Sameen Farooqi, President of Karachi Club, Los Angeles. Kamal Zafar Bhai, unit incharge of Los Angeles, said that "This event is becomming the mile stone for MQM's strong presence and active unit in Los Angeles." He also congratulated all the unit workers on behalf of MQM USA's Central Organizer Ibad U. Rehman and thank them for a job well done."
