MQM New York Celebrates 31st Anniversary of APMSO and American Independence Day

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; New York; July 06, 2009: MQM New York Chapter celebrated the 31st Youm-e-Tasees (Foundation Day) of APMSO and the American Independence Day in collaboration with New York Youth Wing on July 4, 2009. While the event was attended by the office bearers, workers, and supporters of MQM New York, it was also attended by the members of the Central Organizing Committee, MQM USA and the Patron-in-Chief of MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. The great turnout of the youth at the event was the feature of the event. The event was started by Incharge MQM New York Chapter, who thanked everyone for attending and congratulated everyone on the anniversary of APMSO and American Independence Day. Gul Mohammad, member Central Organizing Committee, specifically addressed the youth present on the occasion and emphasized on the need of moving forward as the organizations without movement die with the time. Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, in his address, said that the youth who formed APMSO changed the destiny of the Pakistani nation and the youth present of this time has the responsibility of following those footsteps. Khalida Shuja, member Central Organizing Committee, congratulated everyone and thanked all the women particularly for their efforts in making MQM USA successful. The event culminated at the dinner and a cake cutting ceremony.
