APMSO was the Harbinger of the Revolution; MQM will accomplish the Task

Communication & Media Cell, MQM USA; New York; June 26, 2010: APMSO was the harbinger of the revolution in the country and MQM will accomplish the task. This was said by the former federal minister and Patron-in-Chief MQM North America Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui at the 32nd anniversary celebrations of APMSO at New York. While the grand scale celebrations at New York were attended a cross-section of Pakistani community from all walks of life in a large number, the event was also attended by office bearers and workers of MQM USA, MQM New York, MQM New Jersey, MQM Connecticut, MQM Philadelphia, Gahwarah-e-Adab USA, Gahwarah-e-Adab New York, Youth Wing USA, Youth Wing New York, Karachi Club New York and other subsidiaries of MQM USA and MQM New York in New York. Speaking to the public gathering Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that the only refuge for the oppressed of Pakistan is in MQM and in the philosophy put forth by the leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain and that philosophy is the philosophy of Realism and Practicalism. He added that MQM has instilled service in politics that no other party has ever done that before. He said that MQM is a tradition maker and all others follow the traditions MQM sets. The event was opened with the recitation from Holy Quran done by the Joint Incharge MQM New York Khursheed-ul-Haque which was followed by the welcoming address by the Chapter Incharge Asma Rohail Those who also spoke at the event besides Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui include the leaders of the Punjabi community in New York Mr. Awan, Mr. J Javed, and Prof. Saqlain Malik, member Central Helping Committee MQM USA Anjum Arif, coordinator Youth Wing USA Maliha Khan, members of the Central Organizing Committee MQM USA Anwar Ahmed, Arshad Hussain, and Gul Mohammad, and famous travelogue writer Qamar Ali Abbasi. The proceeding of the event was beautifully run by the members of the Youth Wing USA and Youth Wing New York that include Maliha Khan, Usman Khan, Sara Anwar, Sahrish Shuja, and Mohammad Noor. The cake cutting ceremony was performed by the members of the Youth Wing that was followed by dinner. The event ended on a light musical evening that ended with the change of the date.
